Job Description:
As a General Farm Worker at Ferme Verte, you will be involved in a wide range of activities that keep our farm thriving. Duties include:

  • Planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to best agricultural practices.
  • Operating and maintaining farm machinery and tools.
  • Irrigating, fertilizing, and monitoring crops for healthy growth.
  • Detecting pests and plant diseases, applying safe control measures.
  • Packing and sorting harvested produce for distribution.
  • Performing general farm and equipment cleaning and upkeep.
  • Following all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • No prior education or experience required — on-site training provided.
  • Physically able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to handle repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic English communication skills (French is an asset).
